Be seduced by the Mornington Peninsula

The Mornington Peninsula is an easy drive from Melbourne.  Rye and environs has something of a Mediterranean ambience today, with its sandy beaches, local wineries and produce grown in the local hinterlands, plentiful choice of locally sourced seafood.  We'll quickly have you feeling like you're a world away!

Cruise along the magnificent coastline of seaside beaches which stretch along to the far tip of Point Nepean, or inland to the olive groves, vineyards and many other attractions.  Stray to our waterfront restaurants, cafes and lavish cliff-top mansions, or head over to the ocean-side, just a short drive across from the Bay vista's - we have plenty to offer and keep you entertained with many great memories to take with you.

If you want to do nothing more than enjoy some well deserved indulgence during your stay, this is certainly the place to do it. But it's also the place where fresh sea breezes and invigorating coastal walks can quickly re-energise your soul.  You might then feel like a game of golf on one of our many world-class courses along the famous 'sand belt', a horseback tour through hinterland wineries or champagne at sunset aboard a luxury yacht as you sail our bays.  Luxury, the outdoors and gastronomic surprises surround the Rye doorstep.

While the Mornington Peninsula has redefined beachside holidays, some things will never change.  Rye regions' history is a deep one, from being the location of Victoria's first European settlement of 1803, to our heritage homesteads and grand gardens with their 150 year old trees.  So if you sometimes wistfully wish that time would just stand still and let you catch up ... it does this for you, when you experience the Mornington Peninsula.
